My experience at Brown was truly life-changing and after a brief professional hockey career, I knew that what I wanted to do next was to help enhance the student experience in a higher education setting. Working in Advancement has afforded me this opportunity and I am thrilled to be able to make an impact by doing the work I am most passionate about here at the University of Southern California, a world-class institution.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Why USC?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>My early Advancement career had been focused on athletics development, but I was eager to broaden my scope and fundraise for academic initiatives and programs. More specifically, I was looking for opportunities at an institution that was globally recognized for its tradition of academic excellence\u00a0and had a mission, culture, and leadership vision that I believed in. I have found all of this and more at USC Dornsife! It is so energizing to work alongside and learn from such a talented and diverse group of students, staff, faculty, and alumni. I feel fortunate every day to be part of such an amazing community.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Favorite USC Initiative<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/dornsife.usc.edu\/joint-educational-project\">Joint Educational Project<\/a> (JEP) is a program I&#8217;ve really gravitated toward.
