Linguistics from USC, where his work examined speech and vocal music (mostly beatboxing) using real-time MRI videos of the vocal tract collected by the interdisciplinary USC Speech Production and Articulation Knowledge group. Currently she is working on a book project about the transnational production and circulation of Cantonese media between China, Hong Kong, Malaysia and Singapore.
