It requires strategists to look beyond campaigns and toward lasting infrastructure and capacities; funders to invest beyond the issues and work to move the needle on power; and organizers to think beyond urgent demands and protests and instead plan toward governing for a more inclusive and just society.<\/p>\n<p>ERI&#8217;s work in the area of governing power includes:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><strong>Conducting cross-disciplinary studies<\/strong>\u00a0of today\u2019s social movements, including indicators of success and measures of power<\/li>\n<li><strong>Supporting learning and strategizing efforts<\/strong>\u00a0to advance dialogues among organizers, funders, intermediaries, evaluators, and academics<\/li>\n<li><strong>Developing research-based social change frameworks and tools<\/strong>\u00a0to inform\u2014and be informed by\u2014real-world, real-time efforts towards a vision of deep change<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Our partners include\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cacalls.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">California Calls<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/changeelemental.org\">Change
