This includes research documenting levels of local adaptation (<a href=\"https:\/\/dornsife.usc.edu\/edmands\/publications\/\">Sun et al. 2015, Leong et al. 2017<\/a>), distinguishing between acclimation and adaptation (<a href=\"https:\/\/dornsife.usc.edu\/edmands\/publications\/\">Sun et al. 2014<\/a>), evaluating impacts of laboratory culture (<a href=\"https:\/\/dornsife.usc.edu\/edmands\/publications\/\">Sun et al. 2018<\/a>), assessing sex differences in tolerance (<a href=\"https:\/\/dornsife.usc.edu\/edmands\/publications\/\">Foley et al. 2019, Flanagan et al. 2022<\/a>), and measuring transcriptomic responses to oxidative stress (<a href=\"https:\/\/dornsife.usc.edu\/edmands\/publications\/\">Li et al. 2019, 2020<\/a>). Currently, <a href=\"https:\/\/dornsife.usc.edu\/edmands\/current-lab-members\/\">Alice Coleman<\/a> is leveraging local adaptation in allopatric populations\u00a0 to understand mechanisms of cross tolerance to copper and temperature.
