The East Asian Studies Center has set aside funds for our affiliated faculty to invite guest speakers to their courses during the AY 2022-23. The purpose of this funding opportunity is to help faculty enrich their course content by adding an online guest lecture on a related topic and inviting the wider EASC community to participate in an academic event.

A brief explanation of the proposed guest lecture and how the proposed talk will enrich your course content are required. Please upload a Word or PDF file in the application.

Each faculty may apply for the funds once a year and the Center will pay each speaker an honorarium of $500.

Applications are due on Monday, July 11, 2022.
