USC Earth Sciences PhD student, Justine Grabiec<\/a>, was awarded a Distinguished Service Award from the City of Los Angeles on April 27, 2023.<\/p>\n

Justine received a Distinguished Service Award from the USC Volunteer Center<\/a> and the City of Los Angeles for her consistent work during Friends & Neighbors Days throughout the academic year. She spent time packing boxes of food for the community with the LA Food Bank and working in a community garden with Community Services Unlimited. She encourages anyone interested in community building and partnership to join these events – they’re only a few hours of your time, you can volunteer in a variety of ways, and they happen monthly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n\n\n <\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n \n \n \n \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
