Students that have an active minor in Geobiology, Geohazards or Climate Change, Stewardship and Resiliency are also eligible for these funds.<\/p>\n<p>Proposals are to include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>an <a href=\"https:\/\/forms.gle\/iF7UH5o3Ztk33owD7\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">ESRAP application form<\/a>;<\/li>\n<li>two to four pages of text, including an abstract and references, that describe the project;<\/li>\n<li>a calendar-based work schedule;<\/li>\n<li>an endorsement memo from a tenure-track or research faculty member who has agreed to supervise the project.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Proposals are welcome throughout the academic year. Proposals from prior recipients are also welcome for either new or continued projects.<\/p>\n<p>Award amounts are based on the merit of the proposal, for a maximum of $2,500, and may include salary support of the student, field expenses, or lab work not covered by the faculty advisor.<\/p>\n<p>The funding is available during both the academic year and summer. Work-study hours can be applied to extend your project.<\/p>\n<p>Proposals are submitted to the Department of Earth Sciences Student Review Committee.
