The B.S. in Environmental Systems Science combines biology, chemistry, physics, geology, and ecology to explore how Earth\u2019s air, water, land, and living systems interact\u2014and how people are changing them. Through field and laboratory work, data analysis, GIS and remote sensing, and systems modeling, you\u2019ll investigate problems such as climate change, biodiversity loss, pollution, and resource management. Graduate prepared to inform evidence-based solutions in consulting, government, nonprofits, sustainability, and research\u2014or pursue advanced study in environmental and Earth sciences.<\/p>\n<p>This degree program is run primarily by the Department of Earth Sciences and the Program in Environmental Studies, with opportunities to participate in both communities.
