This means that before your senior year, you will have already taken an EALC course in which you have written a substantial research paper, and done an in-depth analysis of a topic of your choice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n                      <\/div>\n\n\n        <\/div>\n      \n        <div class=\"card\">\n\n          \n          <div class=\"text-container\">\n            \n                            <h3>\n                  \n                    Prerequisites    \n\n                                  <\/h3>\n            \n                              \n<div class=\"f--field f--description\">\n\n    \n  <ul>\n<li>3.33 overall GPA<\/li>\n<li>3.5 GPA or better in EALC coursework<\/li>\n<li>Completion of two upper-level courses (400+) before starting on thesis, including one course requiring a seminar paper<\/li>\n<li>Have the support of at least one EALC faculty with whom you have done coursework<\/li>\n<li>Submission of an application form to EALC\u2019s undergraduate faculty adviser<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n                      <\/div>\n\n\n        <\/div>\n      \n        <div class=\"card\">\n\n          \n          <div class=\"text-container\">\n            \n                            <h3>\n                  \n                    Required for Departmental Honors:    \n\n                                  <\/h3>\n            \n                              \n<div class=\"f--field f--description\">\n\n    \n  <ul>\n<li>Maintain GPA requirements stated above<\/li>\n<li>Complete EALC 494ab Undergraduate Honors Thesis<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n
