I’m not trying to throw out all our devices —\u00a0people might think it’s an indictment against devices or against social media … let’s let’s just admit — it’s fun to text,\u00a0it’s fun to post on social media and Facebook and Instagram and things like\u00a0that. \u00a0So I’m not against that \u00a0— it’s just that we’re out of balance with our own\u00a0bodies, with our embodied lives… out of balance with nature –and we’re seeing some of the implications\u00a0of that emerging: we’ve got\u00a0anxiety going through the roof, and\u00a0depression, and physical things like\u00a0obesity and diabetes \u00a0— and there’s a whole raft\u00a0of experiences that are getting\u00a0getting written off (as we spend more time online), and it’s not really\u00a0healthy for us in the long run.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n \n
