Melody Nishida
Melody Nishida currently serves as President of the Trojan League of South Bay. She also serves on the USC Spirit of Troy-Trojan Marching Band Board of Directors and is a member of Trojan League of Los Angeles. She is a life member of USC Associates, Cardinal and Gold, Women of Troy and Town and Gown.
Nishida is an emeritus member of the USCAA Board of Governors and has served as Chair of the Alumnae Coordinating Council and President of the USC Norris Comprehensive Cancer Center Auxiliary, Trojan Guild of Los Angeles and USC Alumni Club of West Los Angeles. She has also served as a member of the USC Athletics Board of Counselors and the boards of the Asian Pacific Alumni Association (APAA) and Women of Troy.
In 2014, Nishida received the APAA Service Award and in 1994, she was honored with the USC Alumni Association Alumni Service award. She is a 2013 recipient of the USC Division of Student Affairs Remarkable Women Award. A SCion, she belongs to Skull and Dagger and Order of Omega honor societies.
A USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences graduate, Nishida is a partner in her family’s accounting firm with her nephew, Gerry Yoshida, ’92.
