Distance Learning

Dornsife Technology Services has created a Technology Enhanced Learning / Distance Learning team to support TEL/DL initiatives in USC Dornsife.  We have completed hundreds of course captures, live webcasts and video conferences.  To more broadly promote the TEL/DL services available in USC Dornsife, we have created the following promo video reel:

Available resources necessarily limit services. DTS has established a system of priorities including rental fees, materials and labor. In order of priority:

    1.    Support instruction within the curriculum of the Dana   and David Dornsife College of Letters Arts and Sciences.

    2.    Support users of the teaching areas under the supervision and management of Dornsife Technology Services.

    3.    Provide services for departmental programs, teaching and meeting locations on the UPC Campus.

Curricular activities that qualify for support on a "no charge" basis include: scheduled classes, exams and reviews or events held within the specific department (seminars, conferences, meetings, thesis defense, etc.). "No charge" may also extend to student organizations and student sponsored community service events not funded from outside sources. This policy extends only to events held on campus, Monday through Friday, during regular business hours (8:30 am through 5:30 pm). Labor and/or delivery charges will apply if event/technical support is required outside of regular University business hours or outside the service area adjacent to the UPC Campus.
