CRCC Executive Director Donald Miller moderated a discussion with two of the founders of Hong Kong’s Umbrella Movement, a pro-democracy protest movement that came into being in 2014, at the 2015 Society for the Scientific Study of Religion conference. Benny Tai, a law professor at the University of Hong Kong, discussed the role of Christian faith in the Umbrella Movement. Chan Kin-man, a sociologist at Chinese University of Hong Kong, discussed the spiritual dimensions of the movement.<\/p>\n
