Robert Farrell<\/strong>
\nRetired City Councilman
\nLos Angeles City Council<\/a><\/p>\n

Farrell, a member of the Los Angeles City Council from 1974 until 1991, took PTM fellows through the history of politics in the city of Los Angeles.<\/p>\n

Four days later, he took the class on a Freedom Ride through models of civic engagement and churches throughout South Central LA, including the First AME Church, which was once famously led by Rev. Dr. Cecil Murray.<\/p>\n
