General Information

  • The Group One Satellite Ceremony takes place on The Allyson Felix Field.
  • The ceremony will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, May 12, 2023 with the procession of graduates.

 

Graduate Information

  • A rehearsal will be held the week of Commencement on Thursday, May 11, 2023 at 12:00 P.M. on the Allyson Felix Field (formerly Cromwell Field. Students planning to participate in the Satellite Ceremony are strongly encouraged to attend rehearsal.
  • On May 12th, immediately following the main ceremony, proceed directly to the Allyson Felix Field.
  • Signs will direct graduates to the check in and line up area. Ph.D. graduates, Masters graduates and Undergraduates will line up separately.
  • Once all graduates have processed and are seated, the satellite ceremony will begin. A Dean’s Office representative will preside over the ceremony. Each graduate will proceed to the stage, have their name announced and receive their diploma cover.
  • Three professional pictures will be taken: one before you receive your diploma cover, one while receiving your diploma cover and one with your diploma cover.
  • After you receive your diploma, all graduates must return to their seats until the conclusion of the ceremony.

 

Group One Department Receptions:

Each USC Dornsife department hosts a reception immediately following the Group One Satellite Ceremony.  Graduates in that major and their guests are invited to attend. Click here to download a USC Campus Map.
