Omega Psi is a prestigious honors society at USC mainly for Cognitive Science majors, with a primary focus on creating a supportive community for students during their academic and professional journeys. The society fosters connections among members, providing a platform for networking and knowledge-sharing in addition to career-oriented workshops that introduce students to potential paths within the Cognitive Science field by offering real-world insights from industry professionals. Omega psi aims to empower Cognitive Science majors, helping them navigate their academic and professional paths while forming meaningful connections with peers and professionals.<\/p>\n

Innovative Design is a student-run creative agency that offers design, web, and photo services to a variety on and off campus clients each semester. We also hold annual designations and conferences that are aimed at professional development for our members and USC community.<\/p>\n

\n Undergraduate Students in Linguistics<\/a>\n <\/h3>\n\n\n<\/div>\n \n \n
\n\n \n

USiL is a student-run organization at the University of Southern California geared towards students interested in linguistics.\u00a0We are the only organization at USC dedicated to the enrichment of linguistics students\u2019 academic experience at the undergraduate level.<\/strong>\u00a0We hold academic discussions, homework help sessions for GE classes, faculty dinners, and social outings. We also provide information on graduate school, and career opportunities for those who plan to pursue a career in linguistics after graduation. USiL is open to all students but is catered towards those students who are deeply fascinated by language and the impacts it has on humanity, as well as those students who participate as a major or minor in linguistics or in a related field of study at USC.<\/p>\n

\n Brain Exercise Initiative<\/a>\n <\/h3>\n\n\n<\/div>\n \n \n
\n\n \n

The Brain Exercise Initiative (BEI) is a global 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that uses simple math, writing and reading aloud exercises as an intervention to improve cognitive function in those with Alzheimer’s Disease. Furthermore, BEI fosters intergenerational connections between college students who conduct exercise sessions and the older adults who participate. We span 80 chapters, and were recently a finalist for the 2024 Westly Prize for Young Social Innovators.<\/p>\n
