***Hayward R. Alker, who passed away on August 24, 2007, was the John A. McCone Chair in International Relations at the USC School of International Relations. In honor of the many graduate students and young scholars whose lives and careers he enriched, the Center for International Studies has given his name to our post-doctoral fellows program.***
