If you are interested, we highly suggest that you apply to our Research Assistant Application form:<a href=\"http:\/\/bit.ly\/childlab_usc\">\u00a0http:\/\/bit.ly\/childlab_usc<\/a><\/p>\n<p>We typically have a few undergraduate Research Assistant positions open as a part of the lab. We aim to create a diverse, interdisciplinary, and supportive lab environment; all students are welcome, and students from backgrounds traditionally under-represented in STEM fields are especially encouraged to apply.<\/p>\n<p>Your responsibilities as a Research Assistant will be geared toward your abilities and interests, as well as the requirements of the project you are working on, and may include: learning new research skills, working with parents and children, designing and making research stimuli, helping to recruit research participants, running experiments, coding video recordings, and analyzing data. Students will also be expected to participate in weekly meetings. Previous experience with children, computers, and\/or audio-visual equipment is a plus.<\/p>\n<p>We generally ask for a\u00a0minimum 5-10 hrs\/week commitment for 2 semesters\u00a0to allow you and the lab group to benefit from your training and skills. If that poses a problem for you, or you&#8217;d like to discuss the role further, feel free to reach out to Dr. LaTourrette (latourre@usc.edu) and the CHILD Lab Research Coordinator (childlab@usc.edu).<\/p>\n<p>We will be accepting applications until\u00a0<strong>Monday, September 29th at 11:59pm<\/strong>.
