  • Summary Statement of Research Interests

    Ayse Imrohoroglu (I-SAY IM-RO-HORO-GLU) has published research on the welfare implications of business cycles, inflation and unemployment insurance. She specializes in business cycles, labor economics, and monetary economics. Her recent publications include analysis of Social Security Programs and Individual Retirement Accounts. She was awarded a National Science Foundation grant in 1992 to investigate the effects of Social Security programs on economies with imperfect insurance.
