He used data from the Understanding America Study survey the University of Arkansas had developed, UAS15.<\/p>\n<p>November was a\u00a0month of Donna Spruijt-Metz, a\u00a0psychologist who studies the American epidemic of childhood obesity. \u00a0She has long sought a more effective way to study the family eating dynamics that lead to unhealthy weight gain, and is partnering with\u00a0a team at the University of Virginia\u2019s School of Engineering and Applied Science to construct a <a href=\"https:\/\/news.virginia.edu\/content\/uva-engineers-fly-wall-system-battles-obesity-data?utm_source=DailyReport&amp;utm_medium=email&amp;utm_campaign=news#sthash.bXLqttXW.dpuf\">new, data-driven method for combatting obesity<\/a>.
