He is also active in several student consulting organizations.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"620\" data-end=\"963\">Michael&#8217;s work has followed the public sector from the inside out. He started in constituent services for U.S. Senator Tammy Duckworth in Chicago, connecting mixed-status families with housing resources. He then joined KPMG&#8217;s State and Local Solutions practice in Austin on a statewide financial systems implementation.
