Kevin Beggs is Chairman of the Lionsgate Television Group and Chief Content Integration Officer, overseeing development and production of all scripted and non-scripted programming. A 23-year veteran of the Company and a member of its corporate senior management team, he has spearheaded the strategic expansion of Lionsgate\u2019s television production operations into one of the largest independent television businesses in the world. Additionally, Beggs helps oversee the Company\u2019s \u201cLionsgate 360\u201d efforts, the cross-collaborative approach to developing new content from iconic Lionsgate intellectual properties across all of its businesses.<\/p>\n

Since joining Lionsgate in 1998, Beggs has guided the Television Group\u2019s growth into a leading supplier of premium content for streaming, cable and broadcast networks. Lionsgate\u2019s roster of nearly 70 shows on dozens of different platforms includes: “Zoey\u2019s Extraordinary Playlist” (NBC), “Mythic Quest: Raven\u2019s Banquet” (Apple TV+), “Love Life” (HBO Max), “Manhunt: Deadly Games” (Spectrum Originals\/CBS), the syndication success “The Wendy Williams Show,” “Grant” (History Channel), “Kevin Hart: What the Fit” (YouTube), “Power Book II: Ghost” (STARZ), and “Home Economics” (ABC). Upcoming series include “Run The World,” “Heels,” “Dangerous Liaisons,” “Blindspotting,” and “Power Book III: Raising Kanan” for STARZ, “Santa Inc.,” “Julia” and “Minx” for HBO Max, “This Country” for FOX, and “The First Lady” for Showtime.<\/p>\n

Beggs also shepherded eight seasons of the multiple Emmy Award\u00ae winner “Mad Men,” one of the most acclaimed shows in television history, seven seasons of the ground-breaking “Orange is the New Black,” eight seasons of the hit comedy “Weeds,” and six seasons of the popular “Dead Zone.”<\/p>\n

He is the recipient of the Alliance for Children\u2019s Rights\u2019 2019 \u201cNational Champion for Children Award,\u201d Operation Smile\u2019s John Connor Humanitarian Award, The Help Group\u2019s Teddy Bear Humanitarian Award, and the Broadcasting & Cable 2014 Innovation Award. In October 2017, he was inducted into the Broadcasting & Cable Hall of Fame.
