Shwetha Rajmohan is from Greenville, South Carolina. She is majoring in Economics and Political Science.
In the Spring of 2026, Shwetha is interning for the Convergence Center for Policy Resolution, focusing on donor communication and fundraising.
In the summer of 2025, Shwetha interned with the venture capital firm Xtal Ventures, focusing on AI investments and a project on mining automation. In 2025, she also lived in the Philippines for a month, conducting field research with small-scale fisherfolk on the impact of a Supreme Court ruling that opened municipal waters to commercial vessels, evaluating its effects on livelihoods and coastal sustainability.
In the summer of 2024, Shwetha worked for the National Institute for Civil Discourse as a CommonSense American intern.
Outside of school, Shwetha enjoys going to the beach, spending time with her friends, and reading.
