Our law school personal statement review service is designed for applicants who are in the final stages of writing their personal statements and are looking for additional feedback.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

For tips on what makes a great personal statement for law school, please review this handout<\/strong><\/a> and develop your personal statement according to the general guidelines.<\/p>\n

Other than helping applicants understand the basic premise of personal statements,<\/strong><\/a> out of principle we do not help write personal statements.<\/p>\n

If you are having challenges formulating your ideas for a personal statement, please feel free to make an advising appointment with the pre-law advisors or the USC Writing Center <\/a>(for current USC students only).<\/p>\n

This review process is intended for FINAL DRAFTS.\u00a0 If you are struggling with drafting your personal statement, please make an advising appointment.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n

Before submitting your personal statement, please proofread for grammar and content. The pre-law advising team will return it to you within 5 business days with constructive feedback<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Due to high volume, we are able to accept one submission at a time.\u00a0 If you submit more than one document, we will select the first one received.<\/em><\/p>\n

Welcome to USC Career Pathways Pre-Law Advising’s appointment scheduling page!<\/strong><\/h2>\n

Students and alumni from all majors across campus are welcome to schedule one appointment at a time with the Pre-law advising team.\u00a0We do NOT provide academic advising<\/span>, we are focused on helping you \u00a0with the pre-law journey. Any questions regarding classes to take, minors, etc. need to go to an academic advisor. Please note that USC does not have a pre-law minor.<\/p>\n

Please note – we are not able to advise students on the the USC Gould Law School 3+3 Accelerated BA\/JD program<\/a>. You will need to discuss the 3+3 option with your academic advisor.<\/em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
