In this lecture, she will discuss what the testimonies reveal about transformations in faith, religious affiliation, and attitudes towards spirituality among Sinti and Romani Holocaust survivors. She will reflect on the central themes, case studies, and powerful messages she compiled during her research.<\/p>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"color: #991b00;\"><a style=\"color: #991b00;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.com\/e\/finding-faith-and-losing-religion-romani-sinti-religious-transformations-registration-706437502587\">Register here<\/a><\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Sydney Crowley<\/strong> is a fourth-year undergraduate student at the University of Southern California. She is pursuing two Bachelor of Arts degrees &#8212; one in International Studies and one in Non-Governmental Organizations and Social Change &#8212; as well as minoring in Russian. She works on campus at the USC Center for Languages and Cultures. She is an Editorial Fellow at the USC Global Policy Institute where she focuses on researching and writing articles about the post-Soviet space, mass violence, and human rights.\u00a0 She has participated in a variety of projects and initiatives, including conducting a research project investigating water resource management, climate-related economic instability, and inter-ethnic conflict in Kyrgyzstan.
