Drawing on her interdisciplinary background in musical performance and academia, she is interested in the intersections between critical socio-political issues and their implications within artistic spheres, media, and culture. Inspired by her Taiwanese background, she seeks to delve into a nuanced examination of Taiwanese identity and nationalism through her time at the Center. Utilizing testimony from the Visual History Archives, she will be conducting comparative research on the formations of nationalism in a post-genocide state, looking at accounts from the Armenian and Guatemalan genocide to better inform an understanding of Taiwanese aboriginal ethnocide and current statehood. Through her research at the Center, she hopes to complicate and challenge concepts of Taiwanese nationalism by shedding light on the lasting impact of the aboriginal ethnocide. Previously, she has conducted research into underrepresentation within Western classical music, cataloging and performing the works she found in concert and online. Currently, she works as a research intern for the National Clinic Access Project with Feminist Majority Foundation, where she researches the movement of anti-abortion extremist groups posing high-risk threats to abortion clinics, doctors, and patients, as well as larger legal protections for reproductive health.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<\/div>\n      \n          <\/div>\n\n  <\/div>\n\n\n\n
