We are interested in why and how individuals differ in how they express and regulate their emotions \u2013 often starting from a very young age. We want to understand how characteristics of the child (e.g., temperament) and their environment (e.g., parenting and peers) interact to create the differences we observe in children\u2019s social and emotional lives. To do this, we combine several methods including behavioral observations, computer-based tasks (eye tracking), and neuroscience measures (EEG and fMRI)."}
