D-Clearance for Undergraduate Courses:

To request permission to join a course that is not currently available for open enrollment (D-clearance), you must first email the course instructor, briefly explaining why you would like to take the class and requesting their permission to enroll.

If the instructor invites you to join their class, you must then forward their email to Anthropology Advisor Kim Vinson (vinson@usc.edu), requesting D-clearance to enroll.

Please note that due room size and other limitations, it is sometimes not possible to add students a restricted course, even after receiving the instructor’s permission.
