Island Explorers is an innovative marine science curriculum program for teachers designed to support their instruction in math and science and to enhance or engage student interest in these topics. The program is linked to California state science education standards. It includes options for day trips or overnight field trips to Catalina Island where students and teachers can put their new knowledge about science into action. Island Explorers was developed by the USC Sea Grant Program, which is part of the Wrigley Institute.
