Graduate Fellowships

Do What You Love, Save the Planet

Need support to advance your Ph.D. research on the environment or sustainability? We want to hear from you. The Wrigley Institute offers summer fellowships and other research awards to help support graduate students doing innovative work at the intersection of people and planet. Fellows receive funding as well as access to exclusive professional development and networking opportunities.

We award fellowships in all disciplines, for students whose work would benefit from access to labs, libraries, or other resources at USC’s main campus or at the Wrigley Marine Science Center (WMSC) on Catalina Island.

Wrigley Institute Graduate Fellowship

Our primary fellowship is available to both USC and non-USC graduate students and supports research on USC’s downtown Los Angeles campus, at WMSC, or in the field.
