Edison Challenge

The Edison Challenge was a joint project of the USC Wrigley Institute and Edison International, the electric utility that serves much of southern California through its subsidiary, Southern California Edison (SCE). The Edison Challenge was created to give middle and high school students in the SCE service territory a chance to improve K-12 science education through "hands on" projects. It ran from 2007 to 2010, and the SCE website continues to offer material from the Edison Challenge and the teacher workshops for use by science teachers.

The Wrigley Institute and SCE are discussing new opportunities designed for science teachers that will be offered in 2012.
