Director of Development

The Director of Development will be responsible for using his or her extensive network and experience in cultivating and securing donations to support the funding, programmatic and operational needs of the Shoah Foundation Institute. This position requires a thorough knowledge of gift vehicles including planned, capital, and principle gifts and the complexities required to cultivate, secure, and steward these funds. This position requires a thorough understanding of non-profit institutions and the complexities of engaging a wide array of constituencies, academic departments, and institutes. The incumbent must have a proven track record of consistently obtaining private support in the amount of $100K and more in support of a leading globally recognized research and undergraduate institution.

The Shoah Foundation Institute is part of the USC Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences; its mission is to overcome prejudice, intolerance, and bigotry—and the suffering they cause—through the educational use of its visual history testimonies. Working within the University and with partners around the world to advanc education, research, and scholarship, the Institute provides unique and essential content through the dissemination of its testimonies.
