On June 6, 2012, Steven Spielberg, Founder of the USC Shoah Foundation Institute, will present Robert A. Iger, Chairman & CEO of The Walt Disney Company and longtime philanthropist, with the USC Shoah Foundation Institute’s highest honor, the Ambassador for Humanity Award. Iger will be recognized at a gala in Los Angeles hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, with a special musical performance by Mary J. Blige.

Institute staff members Sherry Bard and Gayle Kolodny-Cole will present "Holocaust Survivor/Witness Video Testimony and 21st Century Learning"   from 1-3 PM at the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE) 33rd Annual Conference. In the session, they will demonstrate and discuss IWitness, the Institute's new educational website for teachers and students.
