Jodi Epstein is the Internship and Civic Engagement Associate for the Jesse M. Unruh Institute of Politics. She oversees the Institute’s California Policy Research Internship and participates in the administration of the Institute’s Directed Government and Political Leadership internship course, POSC 395.
Jodi previously worked as finance assistant for Wendy Greuel for Mayor of Los Angeles 2013, where she administered the solicitation and collection of campaign contributions, and participated in the planning and execution of donor events. She has interned for various advocacy, public affairs and non-profit organizations in Los Angeles and New York, including: California Common Cause; Cerrell Associates; Allan Hoffenblum & Associates; Liberty Hill Foundation and Citizen Action of New York. She currently serves on the board of College Access Plan, an education non-profit in Pasadena, California.
Jodi graduated from USC with a Master of Public Administration degree. She completed her B.S. in Human Development at Binghamton University in New York, with minors in Business and Sociology. As an undergraduate student, she was the Executive Director of Catalysts for Intellectual Capital 2020 (CIC2020), a student run economic development think-tank.
