Andrenna Hidalgo Berggren

Andrenna Hidalgo Berggren is the Staff Director for the Jesse M. Unruh Institute of Politics. She assists with planning and implementation of Institute events, which range from day-long conferences to small discussion panels. She also facilitates relationships between student organizations on campus.

Prior to joining the Unruh Institute, Andrenna taught third graders in East Los Angeles, as part of Teach for America. She also interned at ProSocial, a strategy consulting and campaign management firm, where she focused on grant writing and social media outreach for social justice campaigns.      

Andrenna received her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Southern California. She is a recipient of USC’s Philhower Scholarship and of the two-time recipient of the Diana Chudacoff Levin Award. As an undergraduate student, Andrenna was the Director of Diversity Affairs for USC’s Undergraduate Student Government. She was also student worker at the Unruh Institute of Politics.
