It’s 1605 and “Shagspere”, a London playwright, accepts a royal commission: write a play promoting the government's version of The Gunpowder Plot, a failed attempt to blow up Parliament. But can Shag write the real truth without losing his head? Bill Cain’s explosive comedy is also a high-stakes political thriller that deftly reveals the art of speaking truth to power.

The Sound of Music Sing-along at The Hollywood Bowl

The Hollywood hills are alive with The Sound of Music! Everyone’s favorite sing-along returns to the giant screen at the Bowl. Bring your costume (for the pre-show parade) and warm up your vocal cords for this beloved event.
