Howdy! I’m a paleontologist, adventurer, dog lover, and Angeleno.
I’m finishing my dissertation (yikes!) at the University of Southern California, this year. The last piece of that mighty puzzle is a trip to Peru to look for fossil sponges. That’s right. Fossils of formerly squishy, spiky, sea-floor loving sponges.
I’ll explain where and why I’m going as I write this blog. Visit often – it’s going to be a wild adventure.
