Build Your Own Site
Dornsife Technology Services announces a brand new website wizard that allows people to build, publish and manage their own web sites.
- Choose from a selection of layouts and color schemes
- Create and upload your own header images and slide shows
- Control your navigation without writing a single line of code
- Make use of customized widgets, calendar feeds and newsletter subscription plug-ins
- Add, maintain and edit all of your content online including documents, images, video and other multi-media files.
Still need more flexibility? Use the custom CSS feature to develop a site as unique as your imagination.

Professor Lanita Jacobs
Professor Lanita Jacobs used the wizard straight out of the box and added her own header image created by Wordle.
Science, Technology and Society at USC
The Science, Technology and Society at USC web site has utilized the custom CSS feature to update color schemes and background images.
Grassroots Participation in Global Perspective
The Grassroots Participation in Global Perspective used a standard wizard template and added a collage for a header image.
USC Microbial Observatory
The USC Microbial Observatory opted for a standard wizard template then used a custom CSS to play with the font styles.
Francophone Resource Center
The Francophone Resource Center site used a standard wizard template and added a custom header image.
Master's in Human Behavior
The Master's in Human Behavior site took advantage of the custom CSS option to create the specific look and feel their designer created for them including a slide show header.
Jesse M. Unruh Institute of Politics
The Jesse M. Unruh Institute of Politics site used a standard template. But instead of uploading an image for the header, they chose the text header option available within the wizard.
Department of History
The Department of History site took advantage of the custom CSS option to create the specific look and feel created by a designer. Their site includes a slide show header, dynamic calendar feeds and dynamic rosters populated by myDornsife.
