Religion Major

REL 301: Introduction to Religious Studies and REL 401: Seminar in Religious Studies are required. In addition: 6 upper division courses for a total of 24 units from the Courses of Instruction List. Total requirement: 32 upper-division religion course units.

Religion Major With Honors

Students must achieve a minimum a 3.5 GPA in the major. In addition to completing requirements for the major, candidates for honors must register for 491x Undergraduate Honors Research. Total unit requirement: 36 upper- division religion course units.

Religion with Judaic Studies Emphasis

Must complete all requirements for the Religion B.A.  Upper-division courses must include REL 312, JS 321, JS 361, 382, or JS 467. Prerequisite: JS 100 or JS 180. Must complete HEBR 120, HEBR 150 and HEBR 220. Total unit requirement: 36 course units plus language.
