May 2012:
Congratulations to our New Theta Alpha Kappa Members!

Last Wednesday Professor Lori Meeks had the pleasure of inducting new members into Theta Alpha Kappa (TAK), the National Honors Society for Religious Studies and Theology. Professor Ron Hock served as the mentor for USC’s Chapter of TAK for many years, but our chapter had waned since his retirement. We were happy to reinstate our chapter this month.
Our new initiates include:
Debbie Clavon
Jennifer Escobar
Leah Fiddler
Mary Ellen Jebbia (Jem)
Robin O’Neal
Sean Martin
Karissa Masciel
Austin Young
Jem and Jennifer also received the TAK Undergraduate Achievement Award, and Jem has been nominated by the department for a TAK Graduate Fellowship.
