Every semester the Pre-Law Advising Team hosts numerous events and workshops.  Our spring events are geared towards those exploring the idea of law school and a legal career.

Law School 101 with ScoreItUp LSAT Prep

Law School Admission:  Learn the key things that law schools look for in applications, and what you can do to enhance yours!

LSAT Prep:  Listen to a basic overview of the critically important LSAT and work through real LSAT problems

Law School Reception with Arizona State University Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law

ASU Law Dean Sylvester and Executive Associate Dean Soto will be in Southern California visiting friends and alumni of the law school on March 3 and cordially invite all interested prospective students to a reception. Come meet Deans Sylvester and Soto, and learn more about what makes ASU Law a great choice for your legal education. Are you interested in the legal profession but have never met an attorney before? Do you wonder what an attorney does on a day-to-day basis? If so, then come to the “Life as an Attorney” panel to hear attorneys from various different fields speak about their career!

I Got in to Law School….Now, How do I Survive? Ways to Make a Successful Transition from Undergrad to Law School.

The biggest mistake students make coming into law school is thinking that it is a continuation of undergrad.  This couldn’t be further from the truth.  Come learn what law school is really like and along with effective strategies and tips for making the smoothest transition possible. Panel will include law students from USC, UCLA and Southwestern. This workshop is geared towards students who have already been admitted to law school.

City Year Open House

City Year is an AmeriCorps program that allows students to dedicate themselves to a year of service. City Year members spend 11 months providing support to at-risk students. Please stop by at any point during the open house to speak with Gabriella Mariani, Regional Director of Recruitment for the West Coast.

3+3 Information Session

The USC Gould School of Law 3+3 Program is an accelerated bachelor's to JD program approved by the American Bar Association. Through the program, students are able to complete their BA and JD degrees in six years instead of seven.
