# Attrition and Time to Degree

We have collected the following data for the purpose of transparency, so that prospective and admitted PhD students can have some understanding both of typical attrition and rates of progress through our graduate program, as well as of how those have changed over time. Because of the rapid change in our department and graduate program over the last decade, we have collected the data into four-year groups, to make these changes more readily visible.
