This course provides students with the fundamentals of yoga. The course is designed for beginners, but intermediate students will also find the class beneficial.

Catalog Description:

120a: Introduction to meditation, breathing techniques and postures as a means towards relaxation; increase muscle strength and flexibility; understanding of basic anatomy and nutritional guidelines.

120b: Intermediate Yoga: A continuing study of intermediate and advanced yoga postures, breathing techniques and meditation as a means toward relaxation and stress-reduction. Prerequisite: 120a.
