Jared Sanchez

Data Analyst

Jared Sanchez is a Data Analyst at PERE/CSII, maintaining allegiance since 2009.  He holds a Master's degree in Urban Planning from the University of Southern California.  Before arriving at PERE, he worked for The Civil Rights Project/Proyecto Derechos Civiles at UCLA as a research assistant for The Initiative on School Integration. He has co-authored several PERE/CSII reports, including: “What’s at Stake for the State: Undocumented Californians, Immigration Reform, and Our Future Together” (with Manuel Pastor and Enrico Marcelli), and The Kids Aren't Alright - But They Could Be: The Impact of DAPA on Children (with Manuel Pastor and Vanessa Carter). Most recently, his work has focused on using quantitative methods for immigrant integration, specifically research on the eligible-to-naturalize population, along with other immigration and citizenship data. With these data he also leads many of PERE/CSII’s rapid response requests for partners – including many community-based organizations across the country.
