Jared Sanchez is a Data Analyst at the Program for Environmental and Regional Equity at USC. He holds a Master’s degree in Urban Planning from the University of Southern California. Before arriving at PERE, he worked for The Civil Rights Project/Proyecto Derechos Civiles at UCLA as a research assistant for The Initiative on School Integration. More recently, he has assisted with research around urban and regional policy in general at PolicyLink and Asian Neighborhood Design, primarily focusing on neighborhood change and redevelopment. Currently, he is particularly interested in regional economic development including economic and labor market restructuring and the ways in which it begets new forms of racial and social inequality.
