Antonio Damasio Featured in Discover Magazine

Antonio Damasio, holder of the David Dornsife Chair in Neuroscience and professor of psychology and neurology in USC College, was featured in an article titled "Speed Freaks," which appeared in Discover Magazine's special Winter 2009 publication, The Brain.

The article addresses Damasio's role in expanding the field of neuroscience to include the connection between the brain and the body. Damasio, director of the USC Brain and Creativity Institute, also discusses his fascination with the effect of today's accelerated pace on the brain. View the complete article.
