Joe Herold, from the Herold Consulting Group, gave us an in-depth look into the world of Human Resources from a consulting perspective.  Mr. Herold displayed great insight into this industry, which he has gained over the past 30 years of working in Human Resources.  He believes that the purpose of Human Resources is to “increase the organization’s capability by attracting, retaining, and developing exceptional talent and providing an energizing and empowering environment that allows and encourages people to bring their full creativity and talents to the business.”   He also introduced us to the Herold Consulting “Hierarchy of HR Value” model, which enables a company to focus in on the key areas for improvement.  The tools and models that Mr. Joe Herold introduced to us gave us a clearer view of the importance of Human Resources and the value it brings to an organization.
