Name: Megan Luke

Project Title: Jackson Pollock: Painting Into Architecture

Project Description: Assemble bibliography of recent scholarship on Jackson Pollock and related topics about large-scale painting in the 1940s; collect library and archival materials and read for select information. Possible trip to see artwork at the Getty Museum and to work in its archives. Training in bibliographic software (EndNote) and online research resources in the humanities.

Required Skills: Interest in modern art, architecture, and European and American history; good organizational skills.

Any major in the humanities; all class levels encouraged to apply, independent means of transportation an asset (but not required).
