Mark did his undergraduate work in history at the University of British Columbia and completed a master’s in French studies at New York University. His area of study is modern European history. Having lived in Vancouver, New York, Paris and now Los Angeles, he has a keen interest in metropolitan space and the visual culture of big city streets. Mark plans to engage those interests through work in urban history and visual studies. He is also enrolled in USC's Visual Studies Graduate Certificate program.
