Originally from Concord, Calif., Leticia holds a 2003 B.A. in French and international relations from USC College, as well as an M.A. in international studies from the University of Denver, conferred in 2006. Her research focuses on gender and sexuality in 18th century literature; the relationship between art propaganda and politics during the French Revolution; and memory and forgetting in the works of Marguerite Duras. Leticia plans on teaching French at the university level upon completion of the Ph.D. program.
