Originally from Maui, Hawaii, Lauren attended Washington University in St. Louis, where she earned her B.A. in Economics in 2009. Before starting the Ph.D. program in 2011, she worked for The Boeing Company in Contracts, Estimating, and Pricing. Lauren's research interests are econometrics and health economics. She is currently working with USC's Leonard D. Schaeffer Center for Health Policy & Economics.
